Bopp aims for Portsmouth contract

Portsmouth trialist Eugen Bopp wants to earn a contract at Fratton Park.

The 25-year-old striker scored twice at Havant and Waterlooville on Tuesday night on his first Pompey appearance.

The Kiev-born German was previously signed from Bayern Munich by Pompey manager Paul Hart at Nottingham Forest and was released by Crewe in May.

Bopp told BBC Radio Solent: "Paul and I have a good relationship, he's given me the chance to come here so let's see how things work out."
