Wilson ends Cherries loan spell
Portsmouth
Portsmouth utility man Marc Wilson has returned to Fratton Park after a month-long loan spell at Bournemouth.

The 20-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Dean Court, made seven appearances during his latest spell with the Cherries.

And Bournemouth boss Kevin Bond hopes to bring him back in the future, although he admits is is unlikely.

"He's done really well for us, he plays anywhere you tell him to play," Bond told BBC Radio Solent.

"We had him last year and I'd love to keep him, but at this moment it looks difficult for us to get him back."

Wilson, who is still awaiting his competitive debut for Pompey, has featured in various defensive and midfield positions for Bournemouth.
