Douala has only figured in the Carling Cup as a substitute |
Winger Rodolph Douala is keen to leave Portsmouth in the transfer window if he has not broken into the first-team. Douala, 28, signed in the summer on loan from Sporting Lisbon but has only featured off the bench in the Carling Cup after overcoming an injury.
He told Portuguese newspaper A Bola: "If this doesn't change, in January I have to rethink my life. I have much more possibilities in France."
Auxerre are reputedly interested in signing the Cameroon international.
It seems unlikely that Pompey will take up their option of signing Douala on a permanent deal.
Following a debut as a substitute in the Carling Cup win over Mansfield, he has been hampered by a hamstring problem and has only figured in the defeat at Newcastle in the same competition.
