Portsmouth have signed Cameroon and Sporting Lisbon winger Roudolphe M'Bela Douala on a season-long loan deal. The 27-year-old, who has spent the majority of a professional playing career in Portugal, can also operate as a striker.
Douala has won 13 international caps and agreed to the switch while preparing for Cameroon's African Cup of nations qualifier against Rwanda.
He becomes Pompey boss Harry Redknapp's 10th summer signing.
