Port Vale winger Bell-Baggie vows to make first team
Bell-Baggie featured as a substitute for Vale on Saturday
Port Vale loan signing Abdulai Bell-Baggie has said he is targeting a starting place in the Vale team.
The 18-year-old, signed on a month's loan deal from Reading, came on in the 1-1 home draw against Chesterfield.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm not here to make up the numbers. I want to show people what I can do.
"Micky Adams is a great manager and it's good to know he was tracking me. I aim to repay him by getting in his team - then I hope to make and score goals."
Bell-Baggie, who spent part of last season on loan at Rotherham, is expected to play in a reserve game on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Vale have confirmed that the Carling Cup second round trip to Fulham will be played on Wednesday, 16 August 16 with a 2000 BST kick-off.
