Port Vale striker Danny Glover feeling more confident
Glover considered quitting football at the start of the season
Port Vale striker Danny Glover says he has grown in confidence following his loan spell with Rochdale.
Glover, 20, who has made just two appearances for Vale this season, spent a month with the League Two leaders.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "It was interesting to be involved in something different and I really enjoyed it. I got my confidence back.
"I'm trying my hardest to stay in football. I just want a chance, that's all you need in football."
Glover, the son of former Valiants manager Dean, added: "If it comes at Port Vale, it comes at Port Vale. If not, then hopefully it will come elsewhere."
Glover was placed on the transfer list by Vale boss Micky Adams at the start of the season and has managed only 14 minutes of first-team action for the club all campaign.
He also had a loan spell at Blue Square Premier side Salisbury in September, where he failed to score in six appearances.
Meanwhile, Vale's away game against Rochdale, which was postponed on Saturday because of a waterlogged pitch, has now been rearranged for Tuesday, 26 January.
