Perry is yet to score in 32 appearances for Port Vale
Port Vale striker Kyle Perry hopes to have done enough to earn an extended run in the Valiants' first team.
Perry went nearly three months without playing for the Vale but suspensions to Marc Richards and Danny Glover have led to him starting the last three games.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm pleased with my performances, I'm a big man and I've been doing the big man's job.
"Hopefully I'm asking questions and when Marc Richards and Danny Glover are back I can still be in the team."
Perry fell out of favour when Dean Glover succeeded Lee Sinnott as manager at Vale Park.
However Glover has praised Perry for his response to being left out and the 22-year-old said he has been encouraged by the manager's support.
Signing for the club was a bit of a rollercoaster and the journey is still going on. It's been amazing and I wouldn't change anything

"It means a lot to me because a couple of months ago I wasn't sure what was going to happen," said Perry.
"I'm here to play football and that's what I've done. I've got my head down and worked hard.
"I had an injury to deal with but when I got back in the reserves I scored goals and showed the manager I wanted to play for Port Vale and for him," he added.
Perry joined the Valiants from non-league side Chasetown in January 2008.
But after a mixed 12 months at Vale Park, Perry said he is still determined to make a success of his time with the Burslem club.
"Signing for the club was a bit of a rollercoaster and the journey is still going on," said Perry.
"It's been amazing and I wouldn't change anything. I don't know what's going to happen but I'm happy to be here.
"I'm in a great position and I want to stay at the club and help them be successful," he added.
