Port Vale striker Luke Rodgers believes he and Marc Richards can form a deadly strike partnership in League Two.
Rodgers scored from a 25-yard free-kick in the 2-1 defeat at Darlington, his first league goal of the season.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "We both want to score goals, and if we get the service then there's no reason why we can't do that for Port Vale.
"We're both fit and we're playing together in training. I feel like we do well when we get the service."

While Rodgers took six matches to open his league account for the season, Richards has been in good form, netting three times.
The pair will lead the Vale attack against Macclesfield Town at Vale Park on Saturday, and Rodgers admitted the team are desperate for victory.
He added: "We've got a home game on Saturday so if the crowd get behind us then hopefully we can turn things around.
"As a team we have to be consistent and we're not doing that at the minute."
