Port Vale's board of directors has started interviewing candidates for its vacant manager position. Interviews for a successor to Martin Foyle began on Tuesday with caretaker boss Dean Glover.
It is almost a month since Foyle left Vale Park but chairman Bill Bratt is not in a hurry to appoint just anybody.
"We might as well take a bit more time and make sure we've got the right guy in. We'll bring in the top two and talk to them," he told BBC Radio Stoke.
"The board will have a discussion and another interview with those, and then we'll do what we think is best for the club."
