Nelson has made 13 appearances for Plymouth this season

Plymouth Argyle have successfully appealed against the red card shown to defender Curtis Nelson in Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at Huddersfield.

The 17-year-old was sent off for a challenge on Lee Novak, but has now had his one-match ban overturned.

Plymouth boss Peter Reid said: "I think common sense has prevailed, and thankfully we've got him for Saturday.

"In the heat of the moment, maybe, the referee decided to send the boy off, which we didn't agree with."
