Sturrock runs rule over strikers

Sturrock wants to see new signing Rudy Duoula in action

Plymouth Argyle manager Paul Sturrock will travel to watch the reserve fixture at Yeovil on Tuesday in order to keep tabs on his striking options.

Sturrock is using the game as an opportunity to watch new signings Rudy Duoula and George Donnelly.

"I'm driving up with the sole purpose of watching two strikers and the second-year apprentices", he told the club's website.

Cameroon striker Duoula signed at the weekend on a short-term contract.

Donnelly has joined the club from non-league Skelmersdale.

The match with Yeovil Town will be held at Somerton Sports Club, with kick-off at 1400 GMT.
