Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock says he is hopeful of revealing some new signings later this week.

Sturrock has spent much of the summer scouting players in the UK and Europe as he looks to bolster his squad.

"I think it's important that we get the players targeted, I'm hopeful we'll get a couple in this week," he told BBC Radio Devon.

Sturrock says he may travel to Scandinavia later this month to continue his search for new talent.
