Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock says his team selection was to blame for his side's 3-1 defeat at Coventry City.

The loss dropped Argyle out of the Championship play-off places and Sturrock blamed his idea of making wholesale changes to the line-up.

"Sometimes managers have got to put their hands up," Sturrock told BBC Radio Devon.

"In the last couple of weeks I've felt there was certain things we had to change," he added.
