A Michael Doyle brace and a goal by Jay Tabb boosted Coventry's survival hopes as they comfortably beat play-off hopefuls Plymouth.
Doyle struck twice in the first-half when his close range effort beat Luke McCormick before he fired left-footed into the top corner.
Tabb put the result beyond doubt when he directed a Robbie Simpson cross into the bottom of the Pilgrims' goal.
Plymouth grabbed a late consolation, Steve MacLean scoring from close range.
"If we can keep our current form going or we can improve on it then we won't have a problem.
"We have stayed strong and to get three goals and three points was tremendous."
"I should have made changes but I like to think some of my players might put their hands up for the standards of some of their performances.
"We will work together next week and I will discuss the performance individually and as a team and then we will forget it."
