Plymouth Argyle boss Paul Sturrock said he wants to try to keep Sunderland defender Russell Anderson at the club. Saturday's match at Bristol City is Anderson's last before he is set to return north after a month on loan.
With Krisztian Timar suspended and Mathias Doumbe injured, Argyle are keen for defensive reinforcements.
"We are short in that position so I'd very much like to keep him. He's been a steady-Eddie and is a very honest player," Sturrock told BBC Radio Devon.
