Plymouth have completed the signing of on-loan defender Krisztian Timar from Ferencvaros for 75,000. The 27-year-old Hungarian scored on his debut in February and went on to make 10 further appearances for Argyle.
"Krisztian is a big monster of a fella and he more than played his part in last season," said boss Ian Holloway. "He's very good in both boxes."
Holloway also confirmed that Plymouth goalkeeper Josh Clapham is being released by the club.
Clapham, 22, joined the Pilgrims last summer on a one-year deal after graduating from Plymouth University but his first-team experiences were limited to a handful of non-playing substitute roles.
