 Wotton had to receive hospital treatment |
Plymouth have confirmed that there was an incident between two of their players at their pre-season training camp in Austria at the weekend. The matter involved captain Paul Wotton, who suffered cuts to his head, and Chris Zebroski, and occurred in a restaurant on Saturday evening.
A statement on the club website said: "The incident resulted in one player receiving hospital treatment.
"The incident will be the subject of an internal disciplinary enquiry."
Ian Holloway's side have been preparing for the coming season in the Austrian Alps and narrowly lost to Real Madrid on Friday.
It was their final match of the tour and they returned home on Sunday afternoon.
