Peterborough United will still attack - Gary Johnson

Peterborough United manager Gary Johnson says his side will persist with their attacking brand of football.

Saturday's 5-4 win over Swindon means Posh have scored 28 goals in nine games at London Road this season, but have also conceded 17.

Johnson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "Through the season we'll have ups and downs but we're in there challenging.

"We've scored a lot of goals, I know we've let in a lot as well, but we are trying to win in an entertaining way."

Despite going 3-0 up on Swindon inside 22 minutes, Johnson's side allowed the Robins to claw their way back to 4-4, before snatching an injury-time winner in the shape of Kevin Amankwaah's own goal.

"We got the third one and thought 'here we go' and all of a sudden the lads started believing their own publicity and thought they were Real Madrid," added Johnson.

"Swindon proved you can't do that at any level. We can laugh about it now and it was great we got the winner.

"London Road was a happy place, leave it to me to sort out the mistakes, the supporters should just go home and enjoy their team's three points."

The wins leaves Peterborough, who were relegated from the Championship last season, second in League One, three points behind leaders Brighton.

Meanwhile, the elbow injury suffered by defender Gabby Zakuani is not as severe as first thought.

Zakuani has not sustained a fracture, but will have to wait until the swelling has reduced before learning the full extent of the damage.
