Peterborough midfielder Wesolowski has away day hope

Peterborough United midfielder James Wesolowski says they can match up their away form with their home performances.

Saturday's 5-2 win over Oldham Athletic means Posh have a 100% record at London Road, compared to one win in three on their travels.

Wesolowski, 23, told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "We've got to take our performances at home to our away days, it won't be hard to change.

"I think it's just something mentally more than anything."

The Australian grabbed his first goal in a Peterborough shirt to get the ball rolling on Posh's comeback against the Latics.

The strike topped off an impressive start to the season for the former Leicester City man, who has had to overcome a series of injury problems over the last 24 months.

"I'm playing regularly, which is something I needed to do after a couple of seasons where I had injuries and stuff," he said.

"The manager's a top quality manager, everything about the club I'm enjoying at the moment.

"The fans get behind us, it's quality when we score goals here and the fans get pumped up."
