A charge against Peterborough regarding an approach for Ebbsfleet's Kwesi Appiah has been found "not proven" by a Football Association commission.

Club officials attended an FA sanctions and registration commission on Monday over an alleged breach of rule C2(a).

Peterborough United denied the charge, concerning approaching a player who does not have a written contract.

From the verbal and written submissions, the commission decided the case had not been proven.
