Peterborough director of football Barry Fry has said the club must aim to land a Premier League giant in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Posh will take on West Brom in round three after overcoming Tranmere in their second-round replay on Tuesday.
Fry told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "The chairman has spent a fortune in this poor economic climate and it would be lovely to reward him.
"We'd love to pit our wits against one of the top sides in the fourth round."
Posh will go away to the Hawthorns on 3 January after coming up against the Baggies in both the League and FA Cups last season.

Darren Ferguson's side were well beaten in both matches but Fry believes they will be more competitive this time around.
"We played them twice last year and we didn't do ourselves justice," he said.
"We've improved tremendously over the last year and I think we'll give them a good game."
