Peterborough United have completed the signing of Fulham defender Gabriel Zakuani on a three-month loan deal.
The 22-year-old centre-back has just returned from international duty with DR Congo and is available for Posh's trip to Northampton on Saturday.
He agreed to join Posh on transfer deadline day but was out of the country so could not complete the paperwork.
"He's a big, strong player who would fit perfectly with us," manager Darren Ferguson told the club's website.
"He's 6ft tall, but has a fantastic spring and he's a real athlete. It's a great signing for us."
Zakuani spent the majority of last season on loan at Stoke City, who he helped gain promotion to the Premier League.

Zakuani joined Fulham from Leyton Orient for 1m in 2006 but has only made one start for the club.
Meanwhile, Posh have cancelled the contract of out-of-favour striker Danny Crow by mutual consent.
