Peterborough United midfielder Dean Keates has said Posh are unfortunate not to have picked up any points away from home so far this season.
Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Scunthorpe followed the defeat at Southend on the opening day of the season.
Keates told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "We've been away twice and both times we should have kept clean sheets.
"We've conceded goals, but it's not through the other team's great play but mistakes on our own behalf."
He added :"If somebody's putting it in the top corner from 20 yards out, there's not a lot you can do about it.

"But if we're making mistakes and making it easy for teams to score goals then it is hard to take."
Keates, 30, felt Posh deserved better than defeat in Saturday's loss at Scunthorpe.
"We dominated long periods of the game on Saturday," he said.
"In the second half we pushed them right back and had a couple of half-chances.
"But it's disappointing when you feel you've given the opposition more than they actually deserve."
With team captain Craig Morgan out injured, Keates was handed the armband and said it was a great honour.
But, he admitted: "From a personal point it was nice, but it's not a game I'll look back on with fond memories as it was a defeat."
