Peterborough United defender Craig Morgan expects to be at London Road for next season.

The Welsh international has started each of his country's last four matches, but intends to remain loyal to Posh despite his rapidly-rising stock.

"I've just signed a new contract here and I'm happy," the 22-year-old told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

"If the gaffer wanted to speak to me about another club then that would be up to him."

Morgan started for Wales against the Netherlands, a match which saw him playing against former Manchester United striker Ruud Van Nistlerooy.

"Iceland was a good game and we managed to get through that one, but we knew the Holland one was our biggest test," he said.

"The team-sheet read three forwards from Real Madrid in the starting 11, so you know it's going to be a tough afternoon."

Former MK Dons and Wrexham defender Morgan signed a new three-year contract at London Road in February and is looking forward to playing in League One with the club next season.

"It's going to be a hard year, but we're all looking forward to it and we're really positive."
