Peterborough defender Adam Smith was relieved to make his comeback from a hip injury in Saturday's friendly against a Manchester United XI. Smith, who moved to London Road from King's Lynn in January after an initial loan spell, missed part of last season with a stomach strain.
Back in action after his latest injury, he told Posh's website: "I played 30 minutes and was a bit tired afterwards.
"But my injury is holding out, and it was a great game to come back into."
