Peterborough United have signed defender Kieran Charnock on a three-year deal from Northwich Victoria, for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old centre-back requested a move from the Vics in search of League football next season.
"I'm delighted to have signed," he told the club's website.
Charnock, who was Northwich's current longest serving player, started over a 100 Conference games for the club since signing from Wigan Athletic.
Accrington Stanley were also linked with the defender after they signed his former defensive partner Mark Roberts.
The England non-league international has joined the Peterborough squad in Marbella for training ahead of their pre-season fixtures.
