Northwich Victoria's hopes of bouncing back to the Conference National have been boosted by Kieran Charnock's decision to stay with the club. Charnock, 20, initially said he wanted to leave following relegation to Conference North on ground issues.
The England non-league international defender has however now a signed a new deal to stay at the Victoria Ground.
Charnock's decision has delighted boss Steve Burr, who has persuaded most of his squad to stay for a promotion push.
