Partick assistant manager Gerry Collins has confirmed defender Daniele Chiarini has left the club.

The former Udinese man was not included in the squad to face Motherwell on Thursday after rejecting an extension to his deal with the Jags.

Chiarini had become a first team regular following his arrival in October but Collins is confident the player can be replaced this month.

Collins said: "Chiarini is finished here.

Greek side Iraklis Thessalonikis, two Scottish clubs and some in Italy are reported to have expressed an interest.

Thistle will allow veteran Dolan to move to another club in the search of first-team football.

The Thistle website disclosed "One club has already expressed their interest, with permission granted for them to speak to Jamie."
