Oxford United boss Chris Wilder expects open football

Oxford United manager Chris Wilder says fans may see more open entertaining matches at the Kassam Stadium this season following their promotion.

Wilder says visiting teams were happy to employ spoiling tactics in the Blue Square Premier but he is expecting a change back in the Football League.

"People won't be coming here being negative and parking the bus as much as last year," he told BBC Oxford.

"Hopefully we can catch a few people on the hop and have success this season."

The Oxford squad returned for their first full day of pre-season training on Thursday.

The U's players will be meeting supporters at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday at the club's open day. BBC Oxford will have coverage of the event from 0900 BST on 95.2 FM in Oxfordshire.
