Oxford United boss Chris Wilder says his players will not be allowed to drop their standards as they build towards the Blue Square Premier play-offs.
The U's have four more games of the regular season left and Wilder says he wants members of his squad to prove they are worth a starting place.
"There are places up for grabs ahead of an extended season," said Wilder.
"They are playing for their shirts, playing to get into the team, and playing to win for this football club."
He added: "We demand that the players are focussed and have that drive to do well."
