Oxford United chairman Kelvin Thomas remains optimistic that a broadcaster can be found to televise Blue Square Premier games next season.
United had budgeted to receive £85,000 from Setanta before they went into administration, but Thomas suggests that a new TV deal for might be close.
"I've heard some whispers in regards to that," Thomas told BBC Oxford.
"They are working hard at the Conference office. Hopefully they can find a replacement and we can move on."
He added: "There have been some positive moves. But my gut instinct is that it won't be for the same amount of money."
