Wembley success for U's favourite

Oxford United's community officer Peter Rhoades-Brown has won the final of a chip challenge competition at Wembley.

The former U's favourite, who is also a BBC Oxford summariser, took part in the challenge ahead of the Blue Square Premier play-off final.

Rhoades-Brown beat Crawley Town director Phil Jarman and Eastbourne Borough player Neil Jenkins.

"It's very difficult to chip the ball from there - it's a lot harder than you think," said Rhoades-Brown.

He added: "It would have been nice if we had got to the play-off final and I could have done the challenge in front of the Oxford fans."
