Oxford chairman Kelvin Thomas has revealed that Sunday's home match against Northwich will be watched by their biggest crowd of the season.
Thomas revealed that there have already been more than 7,000 tickets sold for the game on the decisive final day of the campaign.
"Our support has always been fantastic and it has picked up in the last few months," Thomas told BBC Oxford.
"You never underestimate the people of Oxfordshire and the fan base."
Demand has been so high for the game that North Stand seats normally reserved for away fans have been reclaimed for home supporters.
