Oxford United have signed former Doncaster left-winger Craig Nelthorpe until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old was a free agent and will make his debut in a friendly against Didcot Town on Wednesday.
"I haven't really been given a chance at Doncaster. Hopefully if I do well in training here I'll be given a chance to play, " Nelthorpe told BBC Oxford.
"I worked with him (Oxford boss Chris Wilder) at Halifax and really enjoyed it so I am looking forward to it here."
Nelthorpe takes his place in the Oxford side at Loop Meadow alongside trialist Michael McGrath, who is looking to impress after being released by Kidderminster Harriers.
