Haldane is keen to play against FA Cup winners Portsmouth

Oxford United winger Lewis Haldane says he is eagerly anticipating the visit of FA Cup holders Portsmouth to the Kassam Stadium on Monday 4 August.

England internationals Peter Crouch, David James and Jermain Defoe are all set to feature in the Pompey team.

"It's going to be tremendous. Obviously they are favourites but I can't see why we can't hold our own," Haldane told BBC Radio Oxford.

"It will be a good workout and all the boys are looking forward to it."
