Oldham Athletic are hoping to hear new ideas from residents close to their proposed new stadium in Failsworth.
Events are being staged to give local people the chance to air their views on the planned new 12,000-capacity ground.
Latics chief executive Alan Hardy told BBC Radio Manchester: "We want to take their ideas on board.
"When they see what we've got in mind they may come up with some fabulous ideas that we've never thought of that we can include within the project."
He added: "I can understand at the moment the residents don't know what we've got planned. We don't know ourselves, to be honest.
"That's why we've not been able to sit down and talk with them. But hopefully, in the next few weeks, we're going to be in a position to do that."
The new ground, which has been earmarked for the 2011/2012 season, is scheduled to have room for less fans than the current 13,624 capacity at Boundary Park, the Latics' home for the past 102 years.
