Notts County striker Lee Hughes has agreed a one-year extension to his contract that will see him stay at Meadow Lane until 2012.
Hughes initially joined the Magpies on a two-year deal last summer after being released by Oldham Athletic.
The 34-year-old has become a key figure for Notts and has netted 33 goals.
Hughes, who has a record of 141 goals in 344 appearances, has had spells at West Bromwich Albion, Blackpool and Kidderminster Harriers.
