Notts County 0-1 Doncaster
Notts County manager Ian McParland has said he is delighted with his side's performance against Doncaster Rovers, despite the 1-0 defeat.
The Scot believes his side's display was even better than in their 5-0 thrashing of Bradford City on the opening day of the season.
"I thought we were fantastic tonight," McParland told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"We were brilliant in the first half and you would have thought that we were the Championship side."
The Magpies dominated the early stages of the match, hitting the woodwork three times before James Coppinger settled the tie for Doncaster.

McParland added: "I'm disappointed we lost the game but some of the football we played in the first half was excellent."
"We've got good types of players here. If we lose a game it won't be through lack of effort.
"You can have all the good players in the world but if they aren't good characters you won't win games."
