Facey was Notts' joint leading scorer last season with nine goals

Notts County striker Delroy Facey has been called up to the Grenada squad for the Concacaf Gold Cup in America.

Grenada play the USA on 4 July, Haiti on 8 July and Honduras on 11 July.

Notts manager Ian McParland told the club's website: "Del will be away until 11 July, but we know there is a chance it could be for longer.

"I'd rather have Del with us for the first 11 days of training, but I suppose playing a few games in the Gold Cup won't do him any harm."

McParland is hoping that Facey will not miss too much of pre-season training.

He added: "If Grenada don't make it beyond the group stage we want him to fly direct to Austria to our training camp as soon as possible.

"I want him in and amongst the lads because to miss that Austria trip would be a big miss for him."
