Notts County manager Ian McParland was delighted to see Gavin Strachan score the winner over Exeter on Saturday but is awaiting news on his injury.
The 30-year-old picked a hamstring injury shortly after scoring his first goal for the club.
McParland told BBC Radio Nottingham: "He takes a little bit of stick from the crowd but I'll tell you he gives 120% every week."
The Magpies came from behind to win 2-1 at Meadow Lane on Saturday.
McParland added: "He never hides, even if he's having a bad game - he is an honest boy."

Delroy Facey was also on the scoresheet for County who were trailing the visitors after a Marcus Stewart penalty.
Strachan then converted a Myles Weston cross to seal the three points on the 39th minute in freezing conditions at Meadow Lane.
The BBC blogger picked up a hamstring problem at the end of October and missed most of last season due to injury.
