Strachan missed most of last season because of an injury

Notts County midfielder Gavin Strachan will be out for a further six weeks with a hamstring injury.

The Magpies found out the extent of the 29-year-old's injury after receiving the results of an MRI scan on Thursday.

Strachan missed Tuesday's 2-2 draw at Gillingham after picking up the problem against Macclesfield.

Ian McParland's men will look to extend their unbeaten run in League Two to 12 matches when they face Chesterfield away on Saturday.
