Notts County are awaiting news on midfielder Richard Butcher, who suffered a suspected fracture to a metatarsal in his left foot on Sunday.
The Magpies' top goalscorer, with seven this season, picked up the injury in the 1-1 draw with Kettering in the FA Cup second round.
Butcher is due to have a scan in the next few days to reveal the extent of the injury.
He could be out of action until 2009 if the fracture is confirmed.
