Ian McParland wants Magpies fans to stay on the Kop

Notts County boss Ian McParland wants Magpies supporters to keep using the Kop end at Meadow Lane to boost his side's hopes of avoiding relegation.

Away fans were moved into the Jimmy Sirrell Stand to let home fans use the Kop for Saturday's win over Accrington.

McParland felt they made a difference and told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We need any advantage we can get.

"Every club in the country has got their fans behind one goal. I'd prefer my fans behind two of the goals."
