Keeper Camp set for Rams reunion

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp insists he has no split loyalties ahead of this weekend's East Midlands derby.

Camp, who celebrated his 25th birthday last week, saved a stoppage-time penalty in his first appearance against his old club last season.

"It's always a special game. The past is the past - I can't help what's gone before," he told BBC Radio Nottingham.

"I don't have split loyalties. I'll be doing my damnedest to make sure we do everything in our powers to win."

He added: "I have friends on both sides of the A52 and a lot of my family are season ticket holders at Pride Park."

Forest are still looking for their first League win, though they have knocked Middlesbrough and Bradford City out of the Carling Cup.

"It's an important three points at stake, as it would be nice to go into the international break with a win," Camp said.

"Once we get off the mark, I hope it'd be a springboard for the season."

Camp's penalty save came in an extraordinary period of stoppage-time in the East Midlands derby at Pride Park last November. The Rams saw two goals disallowed as well as having the spot-kick turned away for a corner.

I won't put too much pressure on myself, because that's when you get too tense and make mistakes

And Camp, who was signed from QPR in the summer, is keen to send the Forest fans home from The City Ground in a good mood.

"We want to give the fans some bragging rights for the next few months.

"But I approach it like any other game, I'll still be relaxed on the Friday night and on the Saturday of the game.

"I won't put too much pressure on myself, because that's when you get too tense and make mistakes."
