Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies is "thoroughly enjoying" the challenge of a relegation battle at the City Ground.
The Reds are two points adrift of safety in the Championship, with just six games to go.
"You sometimes try to take positives out of negatives," Davies told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"We are, of course, determined to stay in this division, but you can't buy this experience and I've said that to the players."
"This is a wonderful learning curve for everybody, and if you come out of this having stayed in the Championship, then this experience for staff and players is absolutely outstanding."
The Forest manager succeeded Colin Calderwood in January, with the task of guiding the Reds out of trouble.
Although he is still facing an uphill struggle, the Scot is not letting the situation get him down.
"I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience, I'm enjoying the challenge," he said.
"Fingers crossed we do stay in this league, I'm very confident about that."
