Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood is expecting to make more signings ahead of the new season.
He told BBC Radio Nottingham: "There's one or two more that we're following and would hope to conclude before the start of the season.
"They're with other clubs, and there's a bit of wheeling and dealing to do."
Calderwood has taken his squad away for a three-day training camp in Bath, with his three summer signings to date all making the trip.
The Forest boss has brought in striker Robert Earnshaw, winger Paul Anderson on a season-long loan from Liverpool, and French central midfielder Guy Moussi and is pleased about how the squad is shaping up.
"We spoke about the targets we had, and more or less, we're approaching to get them," he said.
Calderwood is keen to placate supporters who have seen the likes of Kris Commons, Grant Holt and Sammy Clingan already leave the club.
"I know there's been a little bit of concern about the lack of activity, but we pay respect to players who are with other clubs, and pay no respect to rumour."
