Davies sustained the injury during Saturday's goalless draw with Crewe Alexandra at Gresty Road.

The winger, who was playing in central midfield, was making his first start in more than a month but was forced to come off after 74 minutes.

Fit-again Kris Commons or Lewis McGugan are both in contention to replace Davies for the game at Roots Hall.
