Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood feels his side can still gain automatic promotion despite the draw at Crewe.

The 0-0 draw at Gresty Road means Forest are now eight points behind Doncaster in second place, although the Reds have a game in hand.

He said: "It was not a great result. We are still in the chasing pack but we have to win the next couple of games.

"I am satisfied with the effort and the desire was there. There was never any threat of us losing."
