'Drive' sparks Norwich City late shows, says Lansbury

Norwich City midfielder Henri Lansbury has said his side's ability to snatch late goals this season has been down to their determination.

The 20-year-old, on loan from Arsenal, secured a 2-1 win over Millwall on Tuesday with an injury time strike.

It was the seventh time City have scored a league goal in the 90th minute or later this term.

"There's a drive in the team, the lads have shown that we know we can dig out a result," he told BBC Radio Norfolk.

"It's the best feeling to score in the last minute and at the end we showed how much it means to us."

Norwich's last gasp heroics have secured them seven points in total this season, without which they would be seventh, rather than second in the Championship.

In January Lansbury extended his stay at Carrow Road until the end of the season after an initial five-game spell.

And with the Canaries unbeaten in their last eight league games, the young Gunner is settling in to life in Norfolk.

"There's a great buzz around the changing room with us near the top of the league," he added.

"It doesn't restrict you playing when you're enjoying your football and we went out and showed it.

"I just want to play and to keep playing well."
