Norwich's Paul Lambert charged but Grant Holt cleared
Reading 3-3 Norwich
Norwich City's Grant Holt has had his red card against Reading on Saturday rescinded by the Football Association.
The Canaries appealed against the sending off, shown to the striker for a tackle on Ian Harte in the 3-3 draw.
But City boss Paul Lambert has been charged with improper conduct following the fixture at the Madejski Stadium.
Lambert, who described referee Michael Oliver's decision to send off Holt as "pathetic", has until 19 November to respond to the charge.
After the game Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk: "The sending-off was ludicrous, a shocking decision.
"I've just seen it loads of times and it was pathetic."
City were leading 3-1 when Holt was shown a straight red on the stroke of half-time and the result means the Canaries have drawn their last three games and have only one win their last seven.
Holt will now be available for City's upcoming games against Leeds United, Ipswich Town and Derby County.
